LYM Week 1 Challenge

The challenge has begun!
While at the gym this morning, I received my information package, as well as my week 1 newsletter. The information package listed the full 7 weeks of challenges so that you can prepare yourself accordingly. The week 1 newsletter explained the week 1 challenge in more depth, and also had a community cookbook attached. For each week you can complete the main challenge an/or the "supersize" challenge.

Week 1: Be Healthy Challenge-Nourish your body by eating no processed foods and no toxins in your home.

They have provided a description of processed foods here.

They have provided a description of toxins that may appear in your home here.

Supersize: For an additional challenge, magnify the benefits of your health by practicing every day this week.

The challenge shouldn't be too difficult for me as I am already used to clean eating and have lots of recipes to help me out. The toxins portion may be a little more challenging however. I'm already using mostly chemical free cleaners, and I do use a vinegar and water mixture from time to time. I will have to read up on this a little more to step up my game.

I don't plan on partaking in the supersize challenge, but my intention is to practice at least 3 times this week. Most of my practices will be at home throughout the challenge because I simply can't afford 7 weeks of yoga at the studio.

I'm looking forward to trying some new recipes!
