Clean Eating Roasted Chick Peas

My mom used to buy these roasted spiced chick peas all the time from the West Indian grocery store. They were crunchy and spicy, and I could eat the whole bag!

I had a few cans of chick peas in the house that I was going to make hummus with, but then realized I didn't have any pita bread. So I set out in search of another use for them. I stumbled across this recipe from The Gracious Pantry blog and decided to give them a try. With only a handful of ingredients, it was a very simple recipe.  I used 2 cans of no sodium added chick peas. There are also different flavour combinations you can try, or you can create your own with the spices you prefer.

They turned out full of flavour. A perfect snack!
